A Journey of Discovery Through Play
My path into play therapy grew from many years of working with young children. I have over 20 years’ experience, including roles as a class teacher, a nursery nurse, and working within nurture and play support groups in schools. Throughout this time, I saw how children often communicate their feelings through play rather than words. My decision to train as a play therapist became more personal when my own child experienced anxiety, and I saw first-hand the positive impact of play-based support.
I have since completed over 200 clinical hours of training, including trauma-informed practice, and am a registered member of PTUK. Today, I offer play therapy through my private practice in Bath and Frome, as well as working within schools across the local area. I provide a safe and supportive space where children can explore their emotions, find their voice, and build resilience.

Experience and Training
My work is grounded in over 20 years of experience with young children, alongside specialist training in play therapy and child development. I am a registered member of Play Therapy UK (PTUK) accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
